The congregation who attended the mid-May Raise and Praise service were on fire!

Looking at the story of Moses, the reluctant campaigner, the group, under the leadership of Rev. Naomi, zoomed in on how God uses people to bring Good News and freedom. They also focussed on how we stand up and speak out for others.

Following the familiar pattern of previous Raise and Praise services, the ideas rooted in Moses’ and the burning bush story, narrated by Kim, were explored further in a very hands-on way through crafting.

The young, the mature and all those in between, experimented in ways to create abstract images of flames using different techniques. Additionally, there was an opportunity to decorate ‘burning bush’ cupcakes, engage in some tissue paper painting and also some salt painting. More ‘light’ was created through the construction of homemade lava lamps!

Enthusiasm and creativity burned brightly throughout the service; may they never be extinguished!

The next Raise and Praise service will be on:
Saturday 7th June
9:45 – 11.15am
St. Oswald’s church hall Preesall

EVERYONE is welcome!
