Are you considering Baptism?
Whether you are considering baptism for yourself or your child there will always be someone at St James to help you prepare for this special occasion.
As you are joining the Church family by baptism, it is only right that all the Church family are there to witness the baptism and celebrate it with you, and therefore the baptism forms part of the main Sunday morning service.
Fr Peter Walsh, Janice Baines and Gill Keighley, our Baptism Team will answer any questions or concerns you may have; enabling you to understand the baptism service and the vows you will be taking as well as helping you to feel comfortable and relaxed during the service. We will ask you to join us at one of our services, if you are not already a regular attendee, and will arrange to visit you on a couple of occasions in your home as part of the preparation.
