In the same week, when the world enjoyed some laugh-out-loud moments viewing photographs from the 2026 Met Gala, the local community of Stalmine and neighbouring villages got down to some serious standout style at the ‘Fun with Fashion’ evening at St. James’ church.
In this hotly-anticipated event, models of all ages gave a masterclass in showcasing sustainable fashion pieces along their very own red-carpeted runway.
Throughout the evening, utility and comfortable clothing blended seamlessly with elegant, sophisticated looks, all in the name of two fabulous local charities – CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and Brian House (Children’s Hospice).
A whopping £943+ (still more to come in) was raised on the evening by all the lovely people who came to support the event.
Thank you to Ceri, for bringing Tropic Skincare and donating to the event.
Thank you to all our amazing supporters who came, clapped the models and purchased some wonderful items of clothing, accessories, jewellery and footwear.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening a run(a)way success!
Move over Milan, New York, Paris and London – Stalmine is ready to steal your fashion crowns…
