Saturday mornings have had a makeover!
The successful ‘Stay and Play’ service for under-fives has a new name…RAISE AND PRAISE! It has also grown up a bit and now welcomes people of all ages and stages of life.
It is a creative and informal church with space to move about and explore faith through stories, songs, crafts, activities and food!
The first Raise and Praise service, led by Rev. Naomi, focused on the story of Creation. After listening to the narrative from the Book of Genesis, the young and the young at heart moved on to a series of challenges, using Lego and crafting materials. They even completed a baking challenge, making creature shaped biscuits!
Blessed with a lovely September sun, the entire service took place outside. When the café opened, refreshments were served with a smile by Rose and Maureen, sporting their bright, sunflower aprons!
