Following on from the regular Raise and Praise service, the grounds of St. Oswald’s Preesall hosted families from across the Benefice for a picnic,
There was only one instruction – have fun!
Picnic blankets on the grass made welcoming spaces under the bluest of blue skies, for families to sit and enjoy the lunch they had packed up.
The activity areas which had been set up, soon proved to be irresistible to the children with boundless energy to burn off.
Within minutes, it became clear there were champions in our midst:
Master builders
Exceptional bowlers
Olympian throwers
Skilful jumpers
Admirable parachutists
Splendid rollers
Exemplary batters
Accomplished smilers
Gifted rocket-lolly orbiters
Awesome gigglers
Superb eaters
Sterling good-timers
