Taking our ‘Ancient Roots’ as an inspiration, this event looked back into Stalmine’s past. An on-screen presentation delivered fun facts, old photographs and quirky stories to a most appreciative audience. A virtual tour of the village took the locals on a journey to places of interest, using a certain famous Doctor’s preferred mode of transport!
A delicious afternoon tea followed for the time travellers, and the glorious sunshine made a perfect setting for eating alfresco. Gingham tablecloths, wildflower centrepieces and as much cake as you can eat, made for a joyful occasion.
