The latest Saturday Stay and Play service continued the theme of what happened after Pentecost, using Acts 2:38 as a focus.

Following breakfast and games, the youngsters listened to the Bible story, where Peter spoke to the crowd following him, about what they needed to do to repent.

Peter explained that by turning our lives around, we can all change our whole being for the better.

The children listened to how Peter talked to the people about being baptised and being part of the family of God. He said that once they believed in the Lord Jesus, they would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Crafting and songs, quiet time and discussion, helped the little ones engage with the story and made it personal and relevant to them.

The summer Stay and Play service will continue at St. Oswald’s:
