It was the perfect royal residence for all the youngsters from the Over Wyre Churches Group.

Processions and Floats
Summertime galas are with us once more,
Processions and floats and excitement galore!
Tractors and trailers, decked up to the nines
With ribbons and flowers and colourful signs.
The Over Wyre Churches put together a team,
Creating a float with a natural theme
Called ‘Bugingham Palace’, a nod to the King,
‘Twas a thing of great beauty to make your heart sing!
The little ones dressed up as butterflies and bees,
Sitting ever so sweetly amidst garlands and ‘trees’.
They had the best day, they had the most fun,
And the weather was kind – blue skies and sun!
The Over Wyre Churches Gala Float also participated in the Preesall Gala on Saturday 8th July, and won 3rd prize!
